Research activities
The JCI Clinical Trials Center conducts scientific and research and development activities in the field of medicine and related sciences on its own and in cooperation with other research centers.
The scientific staff of the JCI Clinical Trials Center comprises employees of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. Many of our specialists have international experience gained during stays at foreign scientific centers in the USA, Canada, the UK, Germany, Italy, Belgium. They can boast numerous publications in internationally recognized scientific journals.
The team has extensive experience in obtaining grants and implementing research projects, particularly in the following areas: angiology, allergology, cardiology, immunology, oncology, rheumatology, perioperative medicine and advanced diagnostic cardiac and vascular imaging (MRI, CT, ultrasound).
The Center features a modern facility with the latest equipment which enables the implementation of comprehensive research projects using:
- magnetic resonance (MR), computed tomography (CT), X-ray densitometer, ultrasound machines
- software for the advanced evaluation of the heart and blood vessels in MR and CT
- modern operating room dedicated for venous and skin treatment
It is possible to lease/rent the equipment and premises of the JCI Clinical Trials Center for research and development or other innovative activities.
